Harris campaign wants a second debate with Trump.

Vice-President Kamala Harris’ campaign is challenging Donald Trump to a second debate.

The Washington Post reported that Harris’ campaign is planning to request another debate with the former president before the November election, citing a person familiar with the plans.

The decision to request another debate was made before both candidates took the stage Tuesday night, the Post reported.

“Under the bright lights, the American people got to see the choice they will face this fall at the ballot box: between moving forward with Kamala Harris, or going backwards with Trump,” Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement after the debate. “That’s what they saw tonight and what they should see at a second debate in October. Vice President Harris is ready for a second debate. Is Donald Trump?”

Network execs are reportedly already proposing possible dates for a future debate between Harris and Trump.

Currently, the only other debate both campaigns have agreed to is the vice president debate set for October 1 in New York City hosted by CBS.
