The Republicans managed to screw the country one last time before they are removed from power *knocks woods* when they confirmed far right judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court on Monday.
But, instead of celebrating the woman of the moment, House Judiciary Republicans had another woman on their mind—Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Shortly after Barrett was confirmed, House Judiciary Republicans tweeted: “Amy Coney Barrett confirmed. Happy Birthday @HillaryClinton.”
First, did they mark Hillary Clinton’s birthday on their calendars or they just remember it off the top of their heads??? Some Democrats weren’t even aware that it was her birthday until they tweeted this mess.
Second, only the Republicans can use a woman’s accomplishment to shit on another woman while simultaneously blaming Democrats for not voting to confirm a woman who is a mom with school aged children to the Supreme Court.
Secretary Hillary Clinton didn’t not even dignify Jim Jordan the House Judiciary Committee Republicans with a response. She used the moment to condemn Barrett’s nomination and urged everyone “to vote then out”.
