House Republican tells GOP colleague to ‘go f—k yourself’ during House committee hearing.

House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) was caught on hot mic telling his fellow Republican colleague Rep. Darrell Issa ( Calif. ) to “go f—k yourself” during a committee hearing on Tuesday.

Issa was questioning the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs Ret. Gen. Mark Milley about the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, but went over his allotted five minutes.

“We’ve been keeping a five-minute–” McCaul said.

“I thought it — I thought it was done. I thought it was a closing act, chairman,” Issa responded.

“Yeah, go f—k yourself,” McCaul responded under his breath.

Issa responded to McCaul’s comment with a post on X/Twitter.

“Hey @RepMcCaul — I’ve been called worse … and by people I don’t like!” he wrote.

McCaul has since apologized for his comment in a statement saying, “It was a long day, and I lost my temper. That is uncharacteristic of me and I apologize to Mr Issa, who I consider a friend.”
