An Illinois woman was arrested after she allegedly shot and killed a man because he refused to kiss her.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Claudia Resendiz-Flores, 28 was hanging out and drinking with James Jones, 29 and his girlfriend on Thursday when she asked Jones for a kiss. He refused and she got jealous when Jones kissed his girlfriend instead.
Prosecutors say Resendiz-Flores, demeanor changed and she demanded a kiss from him again. When he refused a second time she took his gun and shot him once in the chest, killing him.
Resendiz-Florez is married, but is separated from her husband and is the sole provider for her three children, the Sun-Times reported.Â
Resendiz-Flores was charged with first-degree murder. She was ordered to remain in the Cook County jail without bail. She is expected back in court Tuesday.
