Jake Tapper’s CNN show hits lowest ratings in a decade.

Jake Tapper’s CNN show just recorded its lowest ratings in a decade as he makes the media rounds promoting his Biden bashing book.

The Lead with Jake Tapper averaged 525,000 total viewers from April 28 through May 25, down 25% from the same period last year, the New York Post reports, citing Nielsen Media research data.

Tapper’s show also only average 95,000 viewers among the coveted aged 25-54 demographic, a 15% drop from the same period last.

It was Tapper’s lowest rated month ever recorded since August 2015.

Tapper’s show was trounced by Fox NewsThe Five and Special Report with Bret Baier, which averaged over 3 million viewers, as well as MSNBC’s shows in the time slot – which averaged over one million viewers.

A CNN spokesperson told the New York Post that Nielsen’s ratings only reflect viewership in the United States and Tapper’s show is aired globally.

“The award-winning program The Lead with Jake Tapper reaches broad global audiences across CNN, CNN International and Max’s streaming platform,” the spokesperson said. “No single metric can capture the true reach and impact of a program driving the national conversation.”
