Vice presidential candidate JD Vance was met with boos when he gave a speech at a firefighters conference.
Vance took the stage on Thursday at the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) one day after Democratic VP nominee Gov. Tim Walz. But the Ohio senator received a much different reception.
Vance was immediately booed after he was introduced by Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL).
“Semper fi, guys,” Vance said. “Sounds like we’ve got some fans and we’ve got some haters, that’s okay! Listen to what I have to say here, and I’ll make my pitch.”
Vance was also booed later in the speech after claiming he and Donald Trump were “the most pro-worker Republican ticket in history.”
