Jen Psaki leaving the White House for MSNBC.

Jen Psaki to leave the White House for MSNBC, report says.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is planning on leaving her job for MSNBC this spring, according to Axios.

Psaki was reportedly in talks with CNN and other networks that expressed an interest in signing her before deciding to go with MSNBC.

Psaki will be hosting a show for the network on NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, Peacock, Axios reports. She will also be a part of live programming on MSNBC’s cable network as a voice on different shows.

Psaki has been consulting with the White House counsel’s office about the move and no contracts have been signed yet, sources told Axios. She has also told senior officials at the White House about the move but has not formally announced it to the press team.

According Axios, Psaki’s deal will be similar to that of Symone Sanders, Vice-President Kamala Harris’ former adviser and senior spokesperson who signed an exclusive deal with MSNBC in January to host a show on Peacock and to participate in live programming on MSNBC.
