Jim Jordan claims perjurer and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s testimony exonerates Trump.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) claims the testimony of perjurer and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is enough to clear Donald Trump of any wrongdoing related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted on charges of sex trafficking and transporting minors to participate in illegal sex acts.

Last month, Maxwell met with former Trump personal attorney and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to discuss the case amid accusations of a cover-up.

Maxwell told Blanche there was no client list, no blackmail scheme and that she never witnessed nor heard of any inappropriate or criminal activity by Donald Trump, according to the transcript of their meeting.

She also described Trump as a “gentleman in all respects” in all of her interactions with him, adding “I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way. The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him.”

Maxwell’s testimony carries very little weight since she was charged with perjury and prosecutors at her trial repeatedly noted that she is “willing to lie brazenly under oath about her conduct.”

Further undermining her credibility is the fact that Maxwell is seeking a pardon from Trump.

But for Jordan, Maxwell’s testimony was enough to convince him that Trump did nothing wrong.

“This confirms what we all knew,” Jordan on Fox News’ The Big Weekend Show, on Saturday in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “We knew President Trump didn’t do anything wrong here. He said that repeatedly. This transcript is the whole transcript and it confirms that. So I think there’s nothing there, it seems, based on what we got from the interview of Ms. Maxwell.”
