Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will deliver a prime time address to the nation tonight, his campaign says.
The campaign has not provided further details about the nature of the address but Democrats are hopeful that the networks will call the race for Biden soon and that he will be addressing the nation for the first time as president-elect, The Hill reports.
Biden, currently at 253 electoral college votes needs to win any two combinations of Nevada, Arizona and Georgia or just Pennsylvania alone and its 20 electoral college votes to be elected as the 46th President of the United States. Biden’s lead in Pennsylvania is just over 13 thousand but his lead is expected to grow as more mail-in ballots are being counted in blue counties in the state.
