Katie Hill reacts to Matt Gaetz's sex scandals: "I've been depressed, anxious and nauseated."

Former congresswoman Katie Hill (D-CA) said she felt “depressed, anxious and nauseated” following the news of Rep. Matt Gaetz’s sex trafficking allegations.

Gaetz is under investigation by the DOJ for alleged sex trafficking and prostitution. He has also been accused of showing off to other lawmakers photos and videos of nude women he claimed to have slept with, according to CNN.

The report says Gaetz has shown the photos both in private and on the House floor.

Hill resigned from Congress in 2019 after nude photos of her were published by British tabloid, Daily Mail, without her consent. She was also facing allegations of inappropriate sexual relationships with staffers in her office and on her congressional campaign.

“The last few days I’ve been depressed, anxious, nauseated, and haven’t wanted to leave the house or even talk to people I love,” she said on Saturday.

“If you’ve been a victim of non-consensual intimate image abuse and are feeling the same way, please reach out to CCRI. You’re not alone,” she added.

Hill and Gaetz became friends during her time in office. Gaetz defended her in 2019 when her photos were leaked and she defended him last year when he announced that he has a son name Nestor.
