Kayleigh McEnany says "science should not stand in the way" of schools reopening.

During a press briefing on Thursday McEnany defended Trump’s push for schools to reopen even as the coronavirus ravages the country. She let it be known once and for all that science is not a part of the discussion as this administration bully states to reopen schools in a few weeks.

Asked by a reporter what the president would say to parents who have kids in schools districts that are planning to go online-only in the fall, McEnany said:

“The president has said unmistakably that he wants schools to open. And when he says open, he means open in full, kids been able to attend each and every day at their school. The science should not stand in the way of this.”

Moments later, after quoting the former chief of Neuroradiology at Stanford and frequent Fox News guest, Dr. Scott Atlas, she said, “The science is on our side here. And we encourage localities and states to just simply follow the science and open our schools. ”
