Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump is considering a run for the United States Senate in 2022, according to the New York Times.

Trump is expected to throw her hat in the ring to challenge for Republican Sen. Richard Burr’s seat after he retires at the end of his term.

Senior White House adviser, Kellyanne Conway told The Times that she would be “formidable”.

“She has the trifecta: She can raise money, raise awareness of key issues and raise attention to her race,” Conway said. “Unlike many typical politicians, she connects with people and is a compelling messenger.”

In October, she mocked Joe Biden for his stutter then claimed without evidence that he’s in cognitive decline.
