Fox News host Laura Ingraham is not fully on board with a potential Trump 2024 bid for the White House, at least not yet.
Ingraham, who was among the first commentators to champion Donald Trump in 2016, is a bit more cautious this time around. Asked by Northern Virginia Magazine if she will support Trump in 2024, Ingraham said, “I’m not saying I’m there for him yet. But I think whether he runs or not—I mean, his policies worked. Trump’s blueprint for policy — a forward-looking, optimistic set of pro-America policies — that blueprint, without a doubt, is winning.”
Ingraham is caught up in the Jan. 6 investigation over texts she sent former chief of staff Mark Meadows as a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol. Ingraham reportedly told Meadows: “The president needs to tell people in the Capitol to go home … he is destroying his legacy.”
Trump has not formally announced plans to run for president in 2024, but he has hinted at it in the past year and polling show he’s the clear favorite for the Republican party nomination.
