Lieu tells Greene and Gosar to "take your nativist crap and shove it.”

Democratic congressman Ted Lieu (CA) blasted Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (Ga.) and Paul Gosar (Ariz.) for leading an effort to form an ‘America First’ caucus that calls for a “common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions.” Lieu told the GOP reps to take their “nativist crap and shove it.”

Lieu, who came to the United States when he was three years old with his family from Taiwan wrote on Twitter:

“As an immigrant, I served on active duty in the US military to defend your right to say stupid stuff. What makes America great is that we don’t judge you based on bloodline, we look at your character. So take your nativist crap and shove it.”

Punchbowl News obtained a flier promoting the new caucus, which calls for a “common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions” and pushes a series of conspiracy theories about election integrity.

The flier also outlined a nativist argument warning that “mass immigration” poses a threat to “the long-term existential future of America as a unique country with a unique culture and a unique identity.”
