Lindsey Graham says Republicans in the House should impeach Kamala Harris if they win the majority in 2022.

Trump ally Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Sunday that under the new guidelines established by the House to impeach Donald Trump, he does not see how Vice-President Kamala Harris does not get impeached if his party takes over the lower chamber in 2022.

“I thought the impeachment trial was not only unconstitutional, I condemn what happened on Jan. 6, but the process they used to impeach this president was an affront to rule of law. We’ve opened Pandora’s Box to future presidents,” Graham said.

“And if you use this model, I don’t know how Kamala Harris doesn’t get impeached if the Republicans take over the House. Because she actually bailed out rioters and one of the rioters went back to the streets and broke somebody’s head open. So we’ve opened Pandora’s Box here and I’m sad for the country,” Graham added.

Graham voted not guilty on the article of impeachment passed by a bipartisan majority in the House charging Donald Trump with inciting an insurrection, because he does not believe the trial was constitutional.

During their defense, Trump’s attorneys played a video montage of Democratic lawmakers, including VP Harris, and celebrities using similar language to Donald Trump’s at his Jan. 6 rally in an attempt to undercut House impeachment managers’ case.

Ultimately, the Senate vote of 57-43 fell short of the two-thirds majority needed to convict Trump.
