MAGA lawmaker faces eviction over unpaid rent.

Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) is being evicted from his penthouse in Washington DC after failing to pay his rent.

The landlord has filed eviction papers saying Mills owes $85,000 in rent and repeatedly missed deadlines and made late payments since he moved in, independent journalist Roger Sollengberger reported Monday.

“Rep. Cory Mills is being evicted for failure to pay months of rent at his D.C. penthouse,” Sollengberger wrote on X. “Owner claims Mills owes $85,000. He was served with notice for failure to pay in January. Ledger shows he paid late nearly every month since moving in, missing several months entirely.”

The penthouse apartment is the same location Mills’ alleged girlfriend accused him of assaulting her in February this year before recanting her story.

The congressman replied to Sollengberger posts on X and called him a “biased hack.

“I know facts are unusual and unfamiliar thing for you, but here’s just the past two months where you can see I’m repeatedly asking for payment links and again as I tried with management today, it failed to process,” he wrote.

Mills also included screenshots of an error message showing that a payment was unsuccessful and an email he supposedly sent seeking a link to make the payment.

“Facts are a finicky thing but wouldn’t expect you to be anything other than a biased hack!” he added.
