A man set himself on fire outside the courthouse where Donald Trump is on trial.
According to CNN, the man walked into the park across the street from the courthouse and throw flyers into the air before pulling something out of a backpack and lit himself on fire.
The flyers reportedly said “NYU is a mob front” and had various allegations of wrongdoings against the school ,CNN reports.
The fire was put out minutes later. The man was taken away by EMS. It’s not clear if he is still alive.
The incident comes after the 12 jurors have been seated in Trump’s criminal trial where he faces 34 counts of falsifying business records to pay hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
