Mary Trump's book sold nearly 1 million copies on its first day.

Mary Trump’s book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created The World’s Most Dangerous Man sold 950,000 copies through Tuesday, setting a sales record for the publishers.

According to ABC News, “Simon & Schuster announced Thursday that Mary Trump’s “Too Much and Never Enough” had sold a company record 950,000 copies in combined print, digital and audio editions as of its date of sale, earlier this week.”

On Monday, a judge in New York, lifted a gag order on Mary Trump, allowing her to speak freely about her family while promoting her book. In an interview on Good Morning America, one day after the release of her book she said her uncle, Donald Trump, “is utterly incapable of leading this country, and it is dangerous to allow him to do so.” Asked what she would say to him if she was in the Oval Office, she responded with one word, “resign”.

She will appear on Rachel Maddow’s show on MSNBC on Thursday.

The book “has entered the national conversation in a way that few books ever do, becoming a cultural phenomenon and must-read for anyone seeking to understand the singular family dynamic that produced the most powerful man in the world today. It is at once a revealing psychological portrait and a work of historic importance,” Simon & Schuster’s CEO Jonathan Karp said in a statement.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany describes Too Much and Never Enough as a “book of falsehoods” that “obviously” wasn’t fact checked.
