A maskless woman at an anti-vaccine rally in New York last week was seen on video admitting that she is positive for COVID-19.
In the video shared on social media by reporter Talia Jane, the woman identified as Stephanie Denaro was chatting with another rally attendee about “Danny” being hospital with pneumonia due to COVID before she casually mentioned that she has the virus.
“Danny is in the hospital with COVID…I have it too,” Denaro said.
The man appeared to have missed her revelation about having the virus and proceeded to ask her why Danny was in the hospital.
“He didn’t go to the doctor to get it taken care of,” she said. “He’s an idiot.”
The man then suggested to Denaro that Danny takes ivermectin to treat his COVID-19 infection even though the drug is not authorized to treat the disease. He said he could get some and advised her to used it with vitamin D and zinc.
“They don’t need to know about it,” the man said.
Denaro a Trump-loving COVID-19 denier and anti-vaxxer made headlines earlier this year after using racial slurs against a Black bakery worker who simply asked her to put on a mask.
She refused to apologize after the incident, writing in an Instagram post. “I STAND BY WHAT I SAID!!!! You mistreat me with my children. You infringed on my freedoms. I have freedom of speech. I can SAY WHAT I FEEL. Leave me alone and stop attacking me for saying my opinion.”
