Massie says Republicans are supporting him in private amid feud with Trump.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) claims Republicans have been privately supporting him in his feud with Donald Trump.

Massie has been on the receiving end of fierce attacks from Trump in recent days over his refusal to back Trump’s massive megabill and criticizing strikes against Iran.

Massie worked with Democrat Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) to cosponsor legislation requiring congressional approval for the US to enter the Israel-Iran conflict.

But, Massie told the Daily Caller that he’s been receiving private “fist bumps” and other signs of encouragement from his Republican colleagues.

“Just yesterday, I decided to start asking my colleagues for checks from their campaigns to help me, and they’ve been supportive — nobody’s turned me down,” he said.

Trump, his allies and The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) are also working to ousts Massie in the 2026 midterms.

MAGA Kentucky, a PAC created by Trump allies specifically to target Massie for daring to not fall in line, released their first ad this week  blasting the lawmaker for opposing a landmark policy bill and saying Trump should’ve sought Congressional approval before bombing three Iranian nuclear sites last Saturday.

“I’m aware that foreign lobbyists have conducted a push poll and are trying to recruit another candidate to run against me, due to my opposition to foreign aid and forever wars,” the Kentucky Republican  said. “The political calculus that both the president and AIPAC have to consider is, if they go after me and lose, they’ve lost a lot of credibility — both of them.”
