McConnell says he hasn't spoken with President Biden since he was sworn in.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told Fox News on Wednesday that the last time he spoke to President Biden was on inauguration day.

“I don’t believe I’ve spoken with him since he was sworn in,” McConnell said.

But the Senate Minority Leader told reporters in February that he spoke with President Biden about additional COVID-19 relief legislation and Myanmar.

His office later clarified his comments to CNN, saying that while he had conversations with the president, they haven’t talked about his agenda.

McConnell also said in the Fox interview that he’s yet to be invited to the White House and he does not believe that Biden wants to work Republicans.

“I haven’t been invited to the White House, so far this administration is not interested in doing anything on a bipartisan basis in the political center,” he said. “There’s been no efforts whatsoever by the president or the administration to do anything in the political center. It’s been trying to jam through everything on the hard left.”
