Melania fires back at historian who criticized her redesign of the White House Rose Garden.

Melania Trump defends nude photoshoots: ‘We should honor our bodies’

Former First Lady Melania Trump fired back at presidential historian Michael Beschloss, after he criticized her redesign of the White House Rose Garden in a tweet on Saturday.

“.@BeschlossDC has proven his ignorance by showing a picture of the Rose Garden in its infancy,” Trump’s office said on Sunday. “The Rose Garden is graced with a healthy & colorful blossoming of roses. His misleading information is dishonorable & he should never be trusted as a professional historian.”

On Saturday Beschloss tweeted that Melania eviscerated the Rose Garden on what was the new garden’s one year anniversary.

The White House revealed the new Rose Garden during the coronavirus pandemic, and ahead of Melania Trump’s Republican National Convention speech on August 25. The changes sparked criticism among many, who were not feeling the new design.

A petition asking First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff to ‘restore Jackie Kennedy’s Rose Garden’ after Trump “replaced it with a boring tribute to herself,” has reached over 80,000 signatures.
