MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said he prayed that Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff would win the runoff races in Georgia so people would believe his claims that there was widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
Speaking to supporters at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Youngstown, Ohio over the weekend Lindell said: “All of a sudden, I started praying. I go, ‘God, please let them take both of these senators.’ ”
“And you’re going, okay, Mike, you did it. No. The reason I say that [is] I’m a marketer,” Lindell continued.
Lindell said the “smart” thing for Democrats would have been to win only one of the two Georgia seats because some Republicans may have backed off the lie that there was widespread fraud in the election.
Warnock and Ossoff both won their runoff elections giving Democrats control of the Senate.
“But instead, you all know exactly where you were when they stole them both,” Lindell said. “And everyone’s going, ‘What are we going to do? Maybe there was election crime.’”
