MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said on Sunday that he plans to shave his mustache and attend the Democratic National Convention “incognito.”
Lindell told Real America’s Voice host Ben Bergquam that he will be going undercover at the DNC in Chicago this week and that no one will recognize him because he will shave his mustache.
“I’m going incognito, I’m going to be shaving my mustache everybody,” he tells Bergquam outside of a pro-Trump rally in McHenry, Illinois. “You won’t recognize me.”
Later in the clip, Lindell takes a call from someone he claims is CNN correspondent Donie O’Sullivan, who specializes in reporting on the spread of misinformation among Trump supporters.
“I’m telling everybody I’m going incognito into the DNC so we gotta talk later today, I’m going to shave off my mustache, will that be something you could go film that live on CNN? Will you film that live? OK, well this is serious, we’re going to shave it off nationally, you can be live on CNN, it will be epic, epic I tell you,” Lindell said.
Lindell is a prominent purveyor of election conspiracies, including the debunked claimed that voting machine companies conspired with Democrats in 2020 to steal the election from Donald Trump.
During an interview on the War Room podcast last week, Lindell said he is going to the DNC to ‘flip Democrats.’
“Like our great real president always tells me, he says, Mike, he goes, ‘you get these big applauses’, but that’s cuz the people want what I’m trying to get to. They want secure elections, everybody does,” Lindell said.
“I can go anywhere,” he added. “I’m going to Chicago next week for the Democrat convention to be there and to flip Democrats.”
