Mike Lindell suggests DeSantis' 2022 victory was due to voter fraud.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is suggesting that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) victory in the 2022 midterm election was due to voter fraud.

Lindell, who has promoted the disproven theory that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, suggested that DeSantis’ win might be illegitimate because he won in Miami-Dade County, which has traditionally voted Democratic.

“What we’re doing now is I’m going after [Miami] Dade County and the 2022 election,” Lindell said on his show. “I look at deviations, everybody. That’s a deviation. I don’t believe it.”

“I’m going to find out if [Miami] Dade County – what happened there, because it’s a deviation from norm,” Lindell added.

There is no evidence that there was widespread voter fraud in Miami-Dade County or anywhere else in the country during the 2022 midterm elections.

Lindell is a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has made similar baseless claims of voter fraud about the 2020 election. He is currently being sued by voting machine companies Smartmatic and Dominion for defamation.

Trump is the only major candidate to announce he is running for president in 2024 last month. DeSantis is expected to run also but he hasn’t announced yet. The Florida governor has emerged as a formidable opponent to Trump for the GOP nomination after Republicans underwhelming performance in the midterms, which some in the party blame on the former president.
