Mike Lindell walks back August 13th Trump reinstatement date.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is walking back his week old prediction that Donald Trump will be reinstated on the morning of August 13th.

In an interview with Steve Bannon on Real America’s Voice Wednesday morning the pro-Trump businessman blamed journalists for misinterpreting his words.

He said the truth about the election will be revealed at a symposium he is hosting from August 10-12, so by the morning of August 13 everything would be out for the public to see and that’s when he will take his case to the Supreme Court where he hopes the Justices will overturn the election in a unanimous decision.

“Here’s what I said about a week ago, we’re going to live stream to the world on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of August,” he told Bannon.

“But what I said was when you all see what I’ve seen, what I have, the morning of the 13th, you’re going to wake up and go, wow, what are we going to do. Everyone’s going to know it and that’s when we’re going to bring it to the Supreme Court,” he continued. “I didn’t say that everything’s going to change the morning of the 13th. But everybody’s going to know what I know.”

He still believes that Trump will be reinstated eventually because “the real winner always gets put back in.”

Lindell’s walk back comes after some prominent right wing figures like controversial Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), who is known to spread bizarre conspiracy theories express skepticism about Trump’s August re-installment.

“We re-elected President Trump on November 3rd in 2020,” Greene said last week. “I want people to be careful in what they believe. It’s going to be very difficult to overturn the 2020 election and so I would hate for anyone to get their hopes up thinking that President Trump is going back in the White House in August, because that’s not true.”

There is no legal path for Trump to be reinstated. The votes have been counted and the results certified for President Joe Biden. Trump and his allies tried unsuccessfully to halt the count and subsequent certification of results in the courts, losing 59 cases.
