Mike Lindell's MyPillow evicted from Minnesota warehouse after failing to pay rent.

MyPillow, the company owned by prominent election denier Mike Lindell, was evicted from a warehouse in Minnesota after failing to pay more than $200,000 in rent.

MyPillow owes Delaware-based First Industrial more than $217,000 in rent for the facility in Shakopee. On Wednesday, a judge granted the company’s eviction request after their attorney argued that “there’s a representation that no further payment is going to be made under this lease,” according to the Star Tribune.

However, Lindell told the Associated Press that the split was amicable.

Lindell said MyPillow had already removed their equipment from the warehouse in June and no longer needed the space. They were subleasing the space to another company through December.

A sublease agreement was in place with a new tenant for January. But, the tenant withdrew at the last minute.

According to Lindell, MyPillow offered to find another tenant but the landlord just wanted their warehouse back.

Lindell told the AP that the $217,000 is for unpaid rent for January and February, and that this latest setback is not a sign of his financial troubles.

Lindell’s financial and legal problems have been piling up ever since he started promoting the debunked conspiracy theory that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump.

He is facing billion dollar defamation lawsuits from voting machine companies Dominion and Smartmatic after accusing them of working with Democrats to rig the 2020 election. Just last month, he was ordered to pay a software engineer $5 million after losing his own 2021 contest challenging experts to debunk his election fraud data. Lindell was also dropped by his attorneys over unpaid fees. He has since acquired a new legal team.

Additionally, several big-box retailers, including Walmart, MyPillow’s biggest distributor, has pulled its products from their shelves. And in January Fox News stopped running MyPillow ads on their network because Lindell owes them around $7.8 million in advertising fees.
