Mike Pence is distancing himself from Trump's post-election mess.

Vice-President Mike Pence is backing away from Donald Trump’s post election train wreck, according to a report in The Daily Beast.

Since October, Mike Pence’s name was featured on every fundraising email sent by the Trump campaign or the Republican National Committee fundraising account. But, as of November 25, that stopped. His name was no longer featured in the ‘from’ field on fundraising emails and this week the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, swapped out the official Trump-Pence campaign logo for one featuring just Donald Trump’s name.

A source familiar with the process told The Daily Beast that the fundraising emails do not go to Pence’s team for clearance and an RNC official said the digital team was testing a new logo.

But, top-level sources with knowledge of the matter say these small changes reflect an effort on the part of Mike Pence and his team to distance the VP from Donald Trump’s outlandish claims about the election.

“It is an open secret [in Trumpworld] that Vice President Pence absolutely does not feel the same way about the legal effort as President Trump does,” a senior administration official said. “The vice president doesn’t want to go down with this ship…and believes much of the legal work has been unhelpful.”

On Wednesday, Pence went to Capitol Hill to participate in the swearing in of Mark Kelly from Arizona. Hours later Trump released a 45 minute video calling for the elections in states like Arizona to be overturned.
