Military shoots down another unidentified flying object over Lake Huron.

The US military shot down another high altitude flying object on Sunday, this time over Lake Huron.

Sources told CNN that the object was shot down by a U.S. military aircraft “at the direction” of President Joe Biden “out of an abundance of caution and at the recommendation of military leaders.”

Another official told ABC News that the object, which was octagonal in structure and unmanned, was detected over Montana on Saturday and was seen again over Wisconsin and Michigan on Sunday traveling at about 20,000 feet.

“The object has been downed by pilots from the US Air Force and National Guard. Great work by all who carried out this mission both in the air and back at headquarters. We’re all interested in exactly what this object was and [its] purpose,” Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich) wrote in a tweet.

“As long as these things keep traversing the US and Canada, I’ll continue to ask for Congress to get a full briefing based on our exploitation of the wreckage,” she added.

Sunday marked the third straight day an unidentified object was shot down by the US military.

A high-altitude object was shot down in Alaska on Friday and another was shot down over northern Canada on Saturday. This comes after a Chinese surveillance balloon was shot down off the coast of South Carolina last weekend.
