Both Moderna and another highly effective vaccine developed by Pfizer last week uses the same science, mRNA (messenger RNA), which contains genetic instructions for making protein in cells.
However, the Moderna vaccine can safely be stored at 25 degrees Fahrenheit or -4 degrees celcius which makes storage and distribution much easier since most refridgerators in the home is able to reach that temperature.

Side effects of the vaccine include pain and swelling at injection site, fatigue, and aching muscles and joints.
