Pharmaceutical company Moderna will charge governments anywhere between $25 and $37 for its vaccine candidate, Reuters reports.
An E.U. official involved with the talks say they are working to get the price below $25 per dose.

CEO of Moderna Stéphane Bancel said the vaccine will “costs about the same as a flu shot, which is between $10 and $50,” Reuters reports. “Nothing is signed yet, but we’re close to a deal with the EU Commission. We want to deliver to Europe and are in constructive talks.”
Moderna says its vaccine candidate was found to be 94.5% effective in preventing COVID after analysis of phase three results.
