Moskowitz trolls Republicans with Putin mask at House impeachment hearing.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) mocked Republicans’ impeachment effort Wednesday by wearing a rubber mask of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s hearing on Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

“I just came to thank James Comer for taking all of our intelligence and using it in the committee. Maybe he can come see the technology in our grocery stores. Thank you,” Moskowitz, wearing the Putin mask, said.

Moskowitz’s stunt comes after Alexander Smirnov, the ex-informant whose claim is at the heart of House Republicans impeachment investigation, was arrested for lying to the FBI about the Bidens Ukraine dealings.

Smirnov later admitted to investigators that Russian intelligence officials were involved in passing information to him about Hunter Biden.

“House Oversight Republicans opened this investigation into Joe Biden with the 1023 form, which has now been proven to come right from Russian intelligence. James Comer did the bidding of Vladimir Putin. The mask was worn to provide that visual,” Moskowitz added in a statement Wednesday.
