Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is demanding that the Georgia Republican Party’s first vice chairman Brian Pritchard, resign after he was found to have voted illegally multiple times.
“The First Vice Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, Brian Pritchard, voted ILLEGALLY nine times while serving out his probation for FELONY check forgery,” Greene wrote in a post in X/Twitter. “Brian Pritchard must resign immediately.”
“The Republican Party is the party of election integrity,” Greene added.
Pritchard, who has promoted the false claim that there was widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election, violated Georgia election laws when he voted nine times while serving probation for a felony check forgery sentence, according to a ruling by Administrative Law Judge Lisa Boggs, first reported by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.
He was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and receive a public reprimand.
