MTG’s ex-husband apologizes after he was caught on video verbally harassing Muslim women.

Perry Greene, the ex-husband of far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) was caught on video Sunday verbally harassing three Muslim women who were praying.

The women said they put a prayer rug in an empty parking space at Avalon mall in Alpharetta to pray before going into the shopping center. That was when Greene walked by and cursed at them.

He then got into his Tesla Cybertruck and continued his anti-Muslim tirade. The women, who were all born and raised in Georgia, said Greene told them to go back to their country multiple times and said they were worshipping a false God, according to Atlanta News First.

“It did feel very long in the moment. Like, it just wouldn’t stop. Attack after attack, insult after insult,” one of the women said. “All of it was just out of pure hate and his disgust of us, which I don’t understand.”

Greene publicly apologized to the women at a press conference on Friday organized by the Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Georgia).

“I just wanted them to know I humbly apologize to them because nobody should be treated that way, and that’s not the way to treat anyone with differences,” Greene said. “Hopefully they find it in their hearts to forgive me and we shouldn’t allow that in our society.”
