Multiple people were kicked out of a Miami Marlins baseball game on Tuesday night after they hung signs on the stands claiming that Trump won the election and others supporting the far right Proud Boys extremist group.
One of the banners read “Trump Won – Take Back America,” while the other said “Proud Boys Did Nothing Wrong – Free All Political Prisoners 1/6/21.”
According to The Hill, at least five people were removed from the stadium because the banners violated its rules on banner size.
The rules say banners should not exceed 3’x5‘ in size and must be baseball related. The banners must also not contain statements regarding political affiliation, social and economic matters or other statements that undermine civil liberties.
