Musk calls for judge who blocked DOGE access to Treasury to be impeached.

Elon Musk is demanding that a federal judge be impeached for blocking Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) officials from accessing sensitive taxpayer data at the Treasury Department.

Nineteen states sued the Trump administration to block government employees associated with Musk’s DOGE from accessing taxpayer records, including the Social Security numbers and bank account information of millions of Americans.

On Saturday, U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer put a temporary restriction on DOGE access to the data.

Musk then went on an hourslong rant on X against the ruling, including a 2:00 am post calling for Engelmayer’s impeachment.

“A corrupt judge protecting corruption. He needs to be impeached NOW,” Musk wrote in a post in response to conservative commentator Glenn Beck who criticized the judge saying he was not elected.
