Right wing billionaire Elon Musk encourages Americans to get involved and “kill” a House passed budget bill that encompasses Donald Trump’s domestic policy agenda.
“Call your Senator, Call your Congressman, Bankrupting America is NOT ok!” Musk wrote in a post on X. “KILL the BILL.”
The post is a continuation of Musk’s assault on Trump’s signature domestic policy bill, which started over the weekend.
“I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing,” Musk told CBS on Sunday. “I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don’t know if it can be both.”
He doubled down on Tuesday issuing a direct take down of the bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination.”
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote in a post on X. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
Musk also vowed to “fire” every politician “who betrayed the American people” by voting for the bill.
Musk’s flurry of posts also including one saying the bill “will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt.”
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, estimates that the bill would add $2.4 trillion to the national debt over the next decade while forcing 11 million Americans off health care.
