A lawsuit that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said would be filed with the Supreme Court on Tuesday by unnamed state attorneys general using evidence he received since his failed cyber symposium in August, was delayed.
Lindell hyped the lawsuit during an appearance on Steve Bannon’s podcast last week. He said several state AGs have signed on to the effort asking SCOTUS to “declare all changes made to state election laws by non-legislative officials unconstitutional,” and to either “pull down” the last election or call for a new election without voting machines.
But, there were no lawsuits filed with the nation’s top court on Tuesday from Lindell or any unnamed AGs.
So, Lindell returned to Bannon’s podcast to clear up any confusion. He explained that the Tuesday deadline was no biggie, it was just to put pressure on those unnamed state AGs he says is supporting his latest far-fetched attempt to overturn the last election. He also blamed COVID for keeping the AGs busy since they are fighting mandates “where kids had to take the vaccine.”
“I met many AGs. I was on the phone with four of them yesterday and some of them have so much going on right now that last Friday they gave them until today to fighting [sic] these mandates where kids had to take the vaccine,” Lindell told Bannon.
“You know a lot of things are happening out there that are very suspicious, almost trying to slow these guys down,” Lindell added. “It is kind of like herding cats. You have different ones at different levels.”
But not all state AGs are on board, Lindell said some have dismissed him outright, which he finds very “disturbing.”
Despite the major setback, he still plans to update his viewers on the content of the lawsuit during a 96-hour telethon beginning midnight on Wednesday.
“I’ve seen the complaint,” Lindell said. “It is epic.”
