Nancy Mace lashes out at “unhinged, sexist, left-winged radicals” after train wreck CNN interview.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) is trying to spin her disastrous appearance on CNN Thursday night as a win against ‘radical leftists.’

“The most unhinged, sexist, left-winged radicals hyperfixated about how I pronounce Kamala’s name last night,” Mace wrote on X from her official congressional account. “Meanwhile, Kamala’s still hiding from the media. Embarrassing”

In another post on her personal account, Mace wrote: “Much needed caffeine after taking on the Radical Left last night on CNN.”

Chaos ensued during a panel discussion on CNN Thursday after Mace repeatedly mispronounced the name of Vice-President Kamala Harris then declared, “I will say Kamala’s name any way that I want to,” after pushback from other members of the panel.

Michael Eric Dyson, a professor in African American studies at Vanderbilt University, described her remarks as “disgusting,” adding that they stemmed from “the history and legacy of white disregard for the humanity of Black people.”

Yet, Mace doubled down on mispronouncing Harris’ name while insisting she is not racist.

Mace was back in the hot seat later in the program after refusing to denounce comments Trump made during a National Association of Black Journalists event about Harris’ “turning Black.”

“Well, I mean, I, I, I didn’t hear him say it, I didn’t hear what he said about her race, I’m not gonna weigh in on her race,” said Mace.

“This doesn’t take that much courage, honestly, to just say that was out of bounds,” host Abby Phillip said.

As Mace struggled to answer, other panelists urged her to “just say yes!” that Trump’s comments were out of bounds.

Mace still refused to criticize Trump prompting Democratic strategist Keith Boykin to accuse her of being in a “cult.
