Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D) has won re-election and with it, allowing Democrats to keep control of the US. Senate.
Masto defeated Republican former state Attorney General Adam Laxalt, in the race that was expected to be a pickup for Republicans.
Democrats will keep their control of the United States and will looking to expand their majority with the crucial Georgia runoff elections on Dec. 6 between incumbent Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker.
