Newsmax host reads live disclaimer fact-checking Trump's voter fraud claims.

A Newsmax host read a disclaimer live on air stating it is the network’s position that the results of the 2020 election were “legal and final” after Donald Trump’s rant about widespread voter fraud at a campaign event.

At a rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina Friday, Trump repeated his false claims that the 2020 presidential election was rigged.

“The president mentioned in his speech the 2020 elections. Newsmax as a network believes the results were legal and final,” host Carl Higbie said after his network aired Trump’s full speech.

Trump’s claims of a rigged election have landed several right wing networks in legal trouble with voting machine companies.

Last year, Fox News reached a nearly $800 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems for promoting false claims that the company worked with Democrats to rig the 2020 election.

Dominion also sued Newsmax and that trial is set to begin in September.
