Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp attends a Christmas party at the White House even as Donald Trump continues to attack him and other Republicans in Georgia after they certified the election for Joe Biden.
“Lucy and I had a great time at the @WhiteHouse Christmas Party today. Merry Christmas, everyone!” the GOP governor tweeted along with photos of him and his daughter at the Christmas party, maskless.

The photos were posted hours after Trump tagged Gov. Kemp and Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in a tweet, calling them “so-called Republicans”
Trump has openly raged against the governor while promoted false claims of election fraud. Trump has called Gov. Kemp a “fool“, “clown” and said he was ashamed to have endorsed him for governor.

He reportedly asked Kemp to encourage officials to overturn Biden’s victory in the state.
On Thursday Kemp told reporters that he, his wife and three daughters have been targeted with death threats after he refused to overturn the election as Trump requested.
“It has gotten ridiculous — from death threats, bribes from China, the social media posts that my children are getting,” Kemp said. “We have the ‘no crying in politics rule’ in the Kemp house. But this is stuff that, if I said it, I would be taken to the woodshed and would never see the light of day.”
Yet, he boarded a plane to attend a super spreader event at the White House, hosted by the man who continues to put his life and those of his family members in danger.
