NYC to paint 'Black Lives Matter' on the street in front of Trump Tower and he's not happy about it.

So, NYC is getting their very own ‘Black Lives Matter’ mural, well seven actually. Mayor Bill de Blasio’s office made the announcement on Wednesday, his office said the murals will be distributed throughout the city among the five boroughs.

One of the bright yellow murals will be placed along Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets— right in front of Trump Tower in Manhattan and, the president is not too happy about that.

He took to Twitter to slam Mayor de Blasio’s plan to paint the mural in front of his building on Thursday, claiming that ‘NYC police are furious’ by the gesture.

“Told that [Mayor] Bill de Blasio wants to paint the fabled & beautiful Fifth Avenue, right in front of Trump Tower/Tiffany, with a big yellow Black Lives Matter sign. ‘Pigs in a Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon,’ referring to killing Police, is their chant. NYC Police are furious!”, Trump wrote in a tweet.

Mayor de Blasio’s spokeswoman Julia Arredondo said in a statement on Wednesday: “The president is a disgrace to the values we cherish in New York City. He can’t run or deny the reality we are facing, and any time he wants to set foot in the place he claims is his hometown, he should be reminded Black Lives Matter,” New York Daily News reported.

In addition to the mural in front of Trump Tower, two more are also planned for Manhattan. One along Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard in Harlem and on Center Street in lower Manhattan.
