Ohio cops tell bystanders 'blue lives matter' after colleague fatally shot black teenage girl.

An Ohio police officer told bystanders gathered at the scene where 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant was shot and killed by their colleague that “blue lives matter” minutes before the guilty verdict was handed down in Derek Chauvin’s trial.

Bryant was shot by a Columbus officer who responded to a 911 call about an attempted stabbing.

Bodycam footage released by police shows a woman lunging towards two women with a knife. A police officer then fires at her, and she collapses to the ground.

Bryant was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Video after the incident appears to show a cop yelling “blue lives matter’ at the crowd gathering at the scene. Another officer on the scene was reportedly wearing a ‘blue lives matter’ face mask.
