The convoy of trucks in Washington D.C. protesting pandemic restrictions was brought to a standstill on Saturday by a single cyclist.
A viral video posted to social media shows the slow-moving cyclist in the middle of road in front of the lead truck causing the entire convoy to slow down to a crawl to match his speed.
“Big powerful convoy slowed down by… a single bicyclist,” ShutDownDC wrote on Twitter. “Shoutout to all the activists who have been tracking and f**king with this silly convoy since they got to the area.”
Another video shows a motorist driving alongside the cyclist and trying to talk to him.
“Hey, what are you doing? You got a a bunch of trucks behind you,” the driver asked the cyclist.
The cyclist could not hear over the honking of the trucks’ horns, which he told the driver was “too loud.”
“Oh, it’s too loud huh? OK,” the motorist says before the video ends.
