Package with suspicion white powder addressed to 'Alvin' found in Manhattan DA's office

A suspicious package containing white powder was discovered in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office on Friday.

According to the New York Daily News, the unknown substance was discovered in the mail room at the DA’s office where a grand jury is hearing evidence as part of a criminal probe into a hush money payment that former President Donald Trump authorized to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election.

The package was addressed to ‘Alvin’ and had a typewritten message inside that says, “Alvin: I am going to kill you!!!!!!!!!!!!!” according to ABC News.

In a statement, Bragged office said the letter “was immediately contained and that the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection determined there was no dangerous substance.”

The package was delivered to Bragg’s office amid attacks from Trump on his Truth Social media app after falsely claiming he was getting arrested Tuesday and called on his supporters to “protest.”

The former president has called Bragg an “animal” and demanded that he be removed from office. He has also posted an article showing a photo of himself with a baseball bat next to Bragg. The former president also ranted, at 1a.m, about potential “death and destruction” if he faces criminal charges in connection with the probe.
