Peter Navarro says the White House is operating "under the assumption that there will be a second Trump term."

White House trade adviser Peter Navarro told Fox News on Friday that over at the White House they are living in a different world. One in which Donald Trump will get a second term.

“We’re moving forward here at the White House under the assumption there will be a second Trump term,” Navarro said echoing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo comments from earlier this week. “Clearly the president won this election.”

Donald Trump has refused to concede to President-elect Biden even though Biden is expected to win enough states to get him go 306 electoral college votes, way more than the 270 needed to be elected president. Biden is also leading Trump in the popular vote contest by more than 5 million votes.

Until Trump concedes, Navarro said “our assumption is a second Trump term. Any speculation about what Joe Biden might do, I think is moot at this point.”
