Joe Biden’s lead over Donald Trump increased by 8 points post-debate in the latest ABC News/ Wall Street Journal poll out this morning.
53 percent of registered voters supported Joe Biden while 39 percent say they support Trump. Biden’s 14 lead over Donald Trump is his largest so far this election cycle.
Nearly half of respondents in the poll, 49 percent say Biden did a better job in the debate, compared to 24 percent who told pollsters that Trump did a better job. A majority, 56 percent say Biden has the better temperament to be president, compared to 26 percent who chose Donald Trump.
The ABC News/ Wall Street Journal poll was conducted between September 30 and October 1 among 800 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
