A new poll out on Friday shows President Biden still in a ‘polling honeymoon’ even in the once Republican stronghold of Texas.
A poll conducted by the University of Houston Hobby School of Public Affairs, shows Biden with a higher approval rating than the state’s own governor, Greg Abbot and a number of elected officials in the state including senator Ted Cruz.
41 percent of Texans have a ‘very favorable’ or ‘somewhat favorable’ view of President Biden compared to Abbott’s 39 percent. Former President Donald Trump and Vice-President Kamala Harris also have a 39 percent overall approval rating. Sen. Ted Cruz is at 38 percent
51 percent of respondents have a ‘very unfavorable’ or ‘somewhat unfavorable’ view of Donald Trump, 47 percent for Cruz, 43 percent for VP Harris, 42 percent for President Biden and 40 percent for Gov. Abbott.

According to the poll, 55 percent disagree that there was widespread voter fraud in the election while 45 percent agree there was widespread voter fraud.
