President Joe Biden is ready for the country to move on from Donald Trump, telling the audience at the CNN town hall in Wisconsin on Tuesday night that he’s tired of talking about his predecessor.
“For four years, all that’s been in the news is Trump. The next four years, I want to make sure all the news is the American people. I’m tired of talking about Trump,” Biden said when asked about Trump being acquitted by the Senate over the weekend during a second impeachment trial.
Trump has largely remained out of the public’s eye since he left the White House last month. But, he loomed large over the Biden administration in the first few weeks due to his impeachment trial in the Senate. Now that that’s over, Biden has the stage to himself.
